Bisham Abbey winter wedding of Emma & Jim

A very cold, wintery wedding at Bisham Abbey

Looking at these photos from Emma and Jim’s Bisham Abbey wedding it’s hard to feel the coldness emanating from them, but if you could you would be shivering right now. Emma and Jim should have felt like they were getting married in spring, but the Beast from the East was still making its’ presence felt, and sent us enough cold weather to make getting outside tricky, but not enough for it to be pretty! It snowed all day – not enough to settle, but enough to ensure all the family photos would need to be done inside. Fortunately the Warwick Room at Bisham Abbey is perfect, not just for the wedding ceremony, but also for group photos. I was also pleased that Emma and Jim were happy to venture outside for a couple of minutes for photos in front of the beautiful River Thames.

Emma’s flowers by Floral Creations co-ordinated perfectly with the theme of the day, and the very talented Cake Fairy created an absolute masterpiece for their wedding cake.

Emma and Jim only wanted me to cover a few hours of their wedding, but I could see lots of the lovely details they had chosen to make their wedding special to them. There were some fabulous readings during the ceremony, and a quiz to get the guests chatting amongst themselves during the wedding breakfast. It got pretty competitive!

Congratulations to you both, and thanks for inviting me to share your day with you.
