Helen & Rob’s Kings Chapel Wedding
Beautiful bunting, incredible brownies and a steel bandHelen & Rob’s wedding at Kings Chapel in Old Amersham had so many beautiful and personal handmade creations. I absolutely loved the bunting that decorated the main room of the 18th century chapel, and even the confetti cones were pretty, with different patterns used for each cone. The venue oozes charm and style, and the different vases of flowers dotted up the stairs added to the relaxed, natural look. Helen had specifically wanted each jug of flowers to look different, and I have never seen such a variety of flowers in one bouquet, but they all came together beautifully.
The weather had been pretty rotten for the weeks leading up to their April wedding, but today it shone and everyone seemed so relieved to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sun after what seemed like a very long winter. The view from the back garden was stunning, and with background music provided by a steel band, there was such a lovely atmosphere to the day.
Helen and Rob’s daughter Eloise was an absolute poppet all day long, apart from when she had to put her dress on – photos below, although she did recover very quickly! The rest of the day she was the happiest little lady and seemed to enjoy herself almost as much as her Mum and Dad.
I confess that I’m a bit of a chocoholic, so couldn’t resist when Helen invited me to try the incredible chocolate brownies made by her friend Lindsay. Wow, they really were as good as they looked.
Congratulations you three, what a gorgeous family you are, and I wish you lots of happiness for the future.
